We’ve established that I’m a poor excuse for a goth, right? Like, I like dark things but only if I can laugh at them, too. I love Tim Burton movies (have I mentioned how thrilled I am that Armitage is doing a Burton movie? Because holy crap, you have no idea) and the Addams Family, but not so much other, really truly gothy things. Unless, of course, we’re talking about Trent Reznor who I do adore but who is a little too intense for me after a while and I’m not alone in that. This popped up on my Facebook feed last night, linked by a friend who said that it “broke her brain.” Right there with ya, sister.

Sometime I would love it if you would do a personal take on trent Reznor sometime — since Armitage said he had a lot of Nine Inch Nails on his iPod a few years ago I have been intrigued.

Did he really?! I never heard/saw that. I’d take a guess and say he was likely listening to The Fragile, because of the long, moody instrumentals. And possibly Downward Spiral. But for The Hobbit I doubt he was listening to Closer on a loop.

It would be interesting to see what Trent would have to say about that. A long time fan of Mr. Resnor myself and not actually a fan of Ms. swift, but that’s not bad mix there. Nice video match up too.
